Praise And Love System

Hello, and thank you for being a responsible dog or puppy parent! I'd like to tell you about my background and experience. I am PASSIONATE about animals.

I have personally owned a horse, dogs, cats and birds and have been professionally teaching people to train their dogs since 1983.

I have experience in teaching both group classes as well as private one-on-one in home training. I worked several years with Animal Behavior & Training Associates (through Petco and the Parks and Rec. Dept) with up to 25 dogs at once!

In addition to basic obedience, I will help you with behavior problems like bolting out doors, separation anxiety, food stealing, boundary training, housesoiling and more!

I even offer sessions helping your dog accept a new baby in the house and getting your dog and cat on more friendly terms.

As a former volunteer of over 5 years at the Wildlife Waystation in the Angeles National Forest, I worked with wolves, coyotes, serval cats, artic foxes, and ferrets.

This was particularly satisfying and a true privilege to be amongst our "exotic" friends.

I am a former volunteer at the Escondido Humane Society as a dog trainer/walker to help those pets find a home that much sooner!

My training methods are based on POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT, PATIENCE, and LOVE. I can teach you how and why your dog thinks which gives you a much better understanding of his or her behavior. This also helps you become a more effective trainer!
